Building This Campaign from Scratch

I’ve worn a lot of hats in my life — sailor, creative director, mom. But this campaign? It’s different.

It’s vulnerable to ask for support. It’s humbling to explain how much elite racing costs. And it’s hard to do all the training, travel planning, sponsorship pitching, social media, and gear logistics on my own.

But here’s what I’ve learned: when you’re chasing something big, people want to help. They want to be part of it.

This isn’t just about me sailing fast. It’s about creating something meaningful — a comeback story with community at its core. Every donor, every share, every cheer from the dock… it builds something bigger than a result sheet.
